Rick is up and walking ... to the amazement of nurses and family members!
He is enjoying some chicken noodle soup for lunch today and most importantly wants to say hi to everyone and thank them for all the love and support.  It has been so important to all of the Schnieders.

AMAZING NEWS! Sounds like Rick is well on the way for a record setting recovery! Better watch out Tami, they're going to send him early. And, don't forget to get some rest. I'm sure after the stress of the last few days, you all need some. Time for a nap.
Love,
Richard and Karen

Your speedy recovery is fantastic. You must have had a great anesthesiologist! OK, I guess I am a little biased but give that doc some credit too!
Keep up the great work and I am sure you will be back to yourself in no time at all. All my love and good wishes.
