Surgery started at approx 10:45 - Nurse told Tami that pre-op went well.
They anticipated that it would be between 3-5 hours of operating time.
So were down 2!  Keep up the comments and keep checking for updates.

I came across this quote this morning and consider it relevant.

"Through my illness I learned rejection. I was written off. That was the moment I thought, Okay, game on. No prisoners. Everybody's going down."
Lance Armstrong

I'd just like to echo Lance's thoughts.

"Okay, game on. No prisoners. Everybody's going down."

We're gonna' beat this thing!!

Rick

I just again watched the clip of your “Big Pitch” I remember talking to you on the way to our seats and how you told me that in the days leading up to the game, every time you pictured yourself trying to make your pitch you threw it into the ground but when the time came to take the mound you threw a PERFECT strike ( ok it was a hanging curve but a strike none the less). I know that you that with all your family and friends around to support you have one more “BIG PITCH” in you and you will beat this.
We love you! ( You are still the only person I would don a Cubs hat for.)
